One way to improve your general knowledge is to read a variety of books. You can also do it online! If you have time to read, I have a list of websites that will help you improve your general knowledge.
The Internet is running out of content. There is already a lot of information available online, and it is only getting more crowded. To stay relevant, you need to use your blog as the primary source for your readers to get updated general information about anything going on in the world.
If you can provide a factual answer to your readers’ questions quickly, then you will establish yourself as an expert in their minds. And being perceived as an expert is one of the best ways to get more traffic from search engines.
There are several websites where you can find information about different topics. Some of them are slightly similar, but overall they’re very different in the type and quality of their content. I’ve created a list of my favorite websites where you can find general knowledge information. They’re all very different, but they have one thing in common: they all have a lot of information!
1. Wikipedia
This is the most popular website in the world. It’s a collaborative encyclopedia, which means that anyone can edit it. The main goal of Wikipedia is to have an open and free knowledge base for everyone. It’s also one of the most popular websites in the world, and you can find information about almost anything there.
2. Quora
Quora is a question-and-answer website where people ask questions and other people answer them. You can ask any kind of question, and you can answer any kind of question. People come to Quora to share knowledge and to learn from each other.
3. Stack Overflow
Stack Overflow is a question-and-answer website for programmers. It’s built and run by you, the community. It’s a place to share your programming knowledge with other programmers.
4. Reddit
Reddit is a social news website where people post links to interesting things they find on the web. Other people then vote the links up or down. The goal is to find the best links and promote them to the front page.
5. SlideShare
SlideShare is a website where you can upload and share presentations online. You can also embed your presentations on your blog or website.
6. Twitter
Twitter is a social networking and microblogging service that enables its users to send and read text-based messages of up to 140 characters, known as tweets.
7. YouTube
YouTube is a video-sharing website on which users can upload, view and share videos.
8. WordPress
WordPress is a free and open-source content management system (CMS) based on PHP and MySQL.
9. Evernote
Evernote is a web and mobile application that allows users to capture information in any environment using a computer, tablet or smartphone.,
10. Flickr
Flickr is an image hosting website and photo-sharing community.
11. SoundCloud
SoundCloud is an online audio distribution platform that enables its users to upload, record, promote, and share their originally-created sounds.
12. Vimeo
Vimeo is a video-sharing website in which users can upload, share and view videos.
13. Instagram
Instagram is a photo-sharing mobile application that enables its users to take pictures and videos, apply digital filters to them, and share them on a variety of social networking services such as Facebook, Twitter, Tumblr, and Flickr.
14. Snapchat
Snapchat is an image messaging and multimedia mobile application that was created by Evan Spiegel, Bobby Murphy, and Reggie Brown, former students at Stanford University.
15. Google+
Google+ is a social networking service developed by Google. It was launched on June 28, 2011. Google+ signups were opened to all in September 2011.
16. Twitter
Twitter is an online news and social networking service where users post and interact with messages, called "tweets".
17. Linkedin
Linkedin is a business-oriented social networking service that operates via websites and mobile apps. It enables users to connect to others for professional purposes, such as job opportunities, through either their existing personal network or by making connections through other users.
18. Tumblr
Tumblr is a microblogging and social networking website founded by David Karp in 2007 and owned by Yahoo! since 2013. The service allows users to post multimedia and other content to a short-form blog. Users can follow other users' blogs. Bloggers can also make their blogs private.
19. Pinterest
Pinterest is a web and mobile application company that operates an online pinboard where users can post, sort, and organize images that other users can "pin" to their pinboard. The result is a visual collection of ideas on any particular subject.
20. Snapchat
Snapchat is an image messaging and multimedia mobile application created by Evan Spiegel, Bobby Murphy, and Reggie Brown, former students at Stanford University, and developed by Snap Inc., originally Snapchat Inc. The application was released in September 2011 as a free download for iOS and Android devices.
